Course Description
This course is designed to help real estate professionals understand and navigate insurance policies and mortgage plans following a disaster, as well as how best to assist others with their recovery. The path forward can present many challenges and opportunities. Therefore, it is important to have a full understanding of what is covered by insurance, the various options available, and ways to help prepare your community. 

Learn how a disaster impacts the mortgage market and how you can tap into the many resources available for you and your clients. The course goes over the many government, nonprofit, and faith-based organizations that offer disaster assistance and relief. Having this knowledge can lead to many potential opportunities with future clients.

This course is part of the C.A.R.’s Disaster Preparedness & Knowledge (DPK) program. The certification was created to guide real estate professionals to have a better understanding as to what they need to do to properly protect themself, their family, their business and their community.
